""CHRNICLES OF NARNIA - PRINCE CASPIAN""

Prince Caspian is a sequel of the first arrived "Chronicles of Narnia". The director, Andrew Adamson has portrayed the action scenes smoothly & The Christian allegories are not as awkward and heavy-handed as in the predecessor. The actors too, look a bit mature & proficient htan in the earlier part. With bigger battles and scarier monsters than its predecessor, this movie has better visual effects & with one notable exception, a dash more individuality than the previous one.The story is about Prince Caspian who must return from exile to claim the throne & although he's a Son of Adam (human), he's not a Narnian, he's a Telmarine. Pevensies, Prince Caspian (Ben Barnes) , has been forced into exile by his ruthlessly Uncle Miraz (Sergio Castellitto), who hopes to one day install his own newborn son on the throne. Lost in Narnia's deep dark woods, Caspian comes to know that the minotaurs, dwarves, talking animals and centaurs which he believed to be creatures in bedtime fantasy stories are more a stuff of myth but as real as his uncle's treachery. He's convinced that he's destined to help them reclaim their ancestral lands.One year later, the Kings and Queens of Narnia find themselves back in that faraway wondrous realm, only to discover that more than 1,300 years have passed in Narnian time. During their absence, the Golden Age of Narnia has become extinct and Narnia has been conquered by the Telmarines and is now under the control of the evil King Miraz. Narnia's rightful heir to the throne, the young Prince Caspian, who has been forced into hiding & mighty knight Peter, with the help of the kindly dwarf, a courageous talking mouse named Reepicheep, a badger named Trufflehunter and a Black Dwarf, Nikabrik, the Narnians,embark on a remarkable journey to find Aslan, rescue Narnia from Miraz's tyrannical hold, and restore magic and glory to the land.

DHOOM DHADAKA is ready to be on the show worldwide on May 23rd. Produced and directed by Shashi Ranjan, DHOOM DHADAKA is a racy comedy film, with a total of 14 actors. The film is basically about a don who is hunting for his heir.
Anupam Kher plays the character of Mungilal, once a small time Bhai way back in 70, in Mumbai flees to Bangkok with his childhood friend Jignesh (played by Satish Shah) when laws turn tight in Mumbai. Now in Bangkok, Mungilal has become a don. Film begins with the AABM (All Asian Bhai Meet). In the discussion, a rival Don of Mungi’s, Fursat Lala (Gulshan Grover) proposes an ambitious plan for a landholding in Alibagh. He asserts that start in the business of Bhaigiri, it is very important to have an heir. Since Moongi has no waris and no plan for the development of that land, it is only logical that the next man, i.e. Fursat Lala should be made the new Don of Mumbai. Moongilal assures the syndicate that he has a better plan for the Land and that he even has a waris, who he will present before the syndicate within one month’s time. In view of his past services, he is granted the time.
Jignesh asks him the logic behind this false statement of having an heir, while he has not even married. Mungi reveals his noble plan to build a hospital on that land because in his childhood his father died at that place for lack of medical aid. And he doesn’t want a casino there. Moongi and Jignesh find a letter of Moongi’s estranged sister Angoori (Bhavana Balsawar) whom Moongilal had thrown out years back because she wanted to marry a music teacher.
Letter says that Angoori gave birth to Kamal. This child, who looks like mama Moongi, smiles like him and ever has a mole on his right thigh just as mama has one his. Mungi starts his hunt of waris in Mumbai where he comes across a detective Johnny English (Satish Kaushik) who promises them to find Kamal, the waris, in 20 days. In return, Mungi would pay him 50 lacs if he finds Kamal.Through his weird ways, Johnny English gets hold of an NRI (Sammir Dattani) to stake a claim to be Kamal. He would put across to Moongi that he just wants his dear mama (Moongi) to touch the ashes of his mother so that he can submerge them in Ganga, before he goes back to Canada. Johnny takes him to Bangkok but, to his shock, he finds another guy (Shaad Randhawa) there, who also claims to be Kamal. To Johnny’s horror, this new Kamal there, who is actually a struggling actor, used to live in his house in Mumbai as a paying guest. When Johnny attempts to call his bluff, this sharp-shooter convinces Moongi and Jignesh about the intimate details that could only have been known to his supposed mother Angoori (Moongi’s sister). While this confusion is on, one more girl, Shivani (Aarti Chhabria) arrives at the scene claiming her to be the real Kamal. Confused Moongi asks all of them to stay in the house till he arrives at a decision as to who the real Kamal is. Now all four are caught up in the Bhai’s house and how Moongi, then, makes them to act as his waris… how his rival Fursat Lala unveils the truth, Is one of them the real waris? Does Moongi get to make the hospital?
This is a journey through hilarious situations.

" IRON MAN "

From Marvel Studios and Paramount Pictures comes the Movie, IRON MAN, to hit the Shows on 2nd May' 08.

Iron Man is yet another script from the Marvel comic series and so, is supposed to be an Action-Packed portrayal of a combat of good versus the evil.
The story is about a driven inventor but an enigmatic wealthy philanthropist named Tony Stark who is haunted by his own dark side of personality. Tony looks after his empire of Stark Enterprises during the day , but during the night, he turns into the secret IRON MAN, with a hands on state-of-the-art armor and arms, amunitions to fight crime, terrorism and corporate espionage.The story takes a turn when this billionare is abducted & compelled to invent a catastrophic weapon but instead, he uses his intelligence and designs a robotic suit wich is just invincible.But in the end , Tony has to combat himself, which tuns his biggest enemy.

The movie, directed by Jon Favereu, is supposed to entertain the audience for 126 minutes and has been rated for some intense Sci-Fi action & violence.

The story is about how these two strangers get married following a night of carousing in Vegas, with one of them winning a jackpot after playing the other's quarter. Both try to subdue each other and get their hands on the cash. However the story,along the line & as usual turns into a sweet Love Story, amidst the backstabbing.

The different schemes & plots that the couple devise to undermine each other in order to claim the money adds an interest to the storyline.

Chak De India is based on the real life story of Indian Hockey player (goalkeeper) Mir Ranjan Negi. During Asian Games his team faced humilating defeat against Pakistan.Later in his life, he went to coach women's hockey team and the team went to win Gold at Manchester Commonwealth Games. Chak De India has similar storyline with SRK portraying Negi.
Shimit Amin, director of the movie picked up the award on behalf of Yash Raj Films. He acclaimed that the message of the movie and the performances of SRK and the girls cuts across all the boundaries.

He is appointed by Bhaiyaaji to catch hold of Pooja and get him his money back. In search of money they all go on an adventurous journey across spectacular India that changes the course of their life altogether.

Jannat is a Bhatt production and its story surrounds sports betting and match fixing in cricket. Emraan Hashmi plays the role of a bookie who gets into this profession to get rich fast. It is Kunal Deshmukh's first film as a director. Apparently Kunal and Emraan have been studying real life bookie's to prepare for the role. Other actors in major roles includes 2005 Miss World Sonal Chauhan, Samir Kocchar and Javed Shaikh. Initially they wanted Esha Deol and then Kangna Renaut to do the lead female role but they couldn't due to tight schedule.

Music of Jannat is composed by Pritam. To be honest songs are pretty good and ZARA SA song is awesome. Considering Pritam made pretty good music for the last three times he worked with the Bhatts (Gangster, Woh Lamhe and Awarapan), I'm sure that this time around he does a good job again.
